Michael Franti and Spearhead to Play at Bonnaroo
Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment are proud to announce the initial lineup for the 2007 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The sixth annual four-day camping and music festival will be held on June 14-17 on the same beautiful 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles south of Nashville. A full list of confirmed acts follows, and more will be announced in the coming weeks. Michael Franti and Gabriel Rios Christmas Song
Michael Franti has recorded a version of "What's This?" (from the soundtrack of the Tim Burton movie Nightmare Before Christmas) with singer Gabriel Rios for a charity campaign. Franti spent a few hours in the studio during a recent visit to Brussels to lay vocals for the song alongside Rios and Flip Kowlier (guitar and programming). The song is the official theme for the Music For Life campaign that Studio Brussels is running this December to help raise funds for the Red Cross Anti-Mine campaign.
